My stock clutch is slipping ever now and then on my street tires but i'm getting really restless to go run it again in race form. Should i go ahead and put the DR's on and pull the weight even w/the slipping clutch to see what it'll run or just spare the flywheel's life and wait till i get the clutch in it?

if its slipping on street tires, you'll tear your clutch up on DRs. if you really wanna go, go on the street tires, and only make one or two passes. wait for the new clutch before you try the drag radials.96 3.8 red camaro. <br />headers,cam,valve springs, retainers, auburn lsd,3.73 gears,SLP cold air, accel coils,24lb injectors,8mm plug wires, air temp module,LT1 diveshaft, removed a/c,edelbrock torque arm, spohn LCA\'s and PHR

You should not only go run it with drag radials on it, but you should try a 100hp shot of nitrous just for fun while you're at it.

nice runs...
I had so-so 60' better then any thing I ever did on my kuhmo 275s I ran 2.2s and a few 2.3s. Still won ever race. Including 2 pre-99 Gts, hell one of them even redlighted me .460 to my .690, and I still passed him up in 3rd gear at the top end.
I later did a run with the belt off... Clutch slipped a little at launch and a little on the 1-2 shift nothing crazy. But I ran a 14.8@93.47 with a 2.24 60'. Not bad for the summer and 74% humidity and a 60% chance of rain 80 degrees feels like 94 degree weather.
Thank God the track let me get by with shorts would be torture to where pants out there in the summer.
Mods
-hurst short shifter, with missing bumpstop
-8.5mm msds, with ngk tr-55
-factory eagle GAs, pretty bald
-and all the free mods I have done before.

what i would do, go in with the zip off pants and after inspection, zip them off and you got shorts
