  • 1/8 mile time 3.4L

Went to the track last weekend after the cam swap. Here's the times:
    2.1685 60ft
    6.4104 330
    10.0421 1/8ET
    67.23 MPH

    AND

    2.1943 60ft
    6.4350 330
    10.0641 1/8ET
    67.08 MPH

The open rear is killing my launch ability, like to get a posi, that would break me into solid 9.xx runs in the 1/8. Little car is making pretty decent power now, a little chip tuning and a posi, and it'll be ready for the nitrous.

Thats about the same 1/8 time I am getting, 10.07 to 10.09 in my 3.8L
Yeah with a posi, you would def be in the 9's. Not to mention, wait till the weather gets a little cooler.

Yes, definitely. That open rear end is killing you. The best 1/8th I had is a 9.844 @69.67 mph. And that was on that burned-up clutch. The weird thing is that my 60' times were 2.2 to 2.4 and a 2.6 when I blow the clutch.

Nope, stock rockers, stock heads. K-motion 700 valvesprings, crane +.050 locks, Crower Baja beast cam, 2.8L induction and hedders with dumps. If I can hit what Jerriko did on just motor, I'll be happy. I'm anxious to see what it will do with the nitrous *crosses fingers*.

Me? I dunno, whenever I get the setup put together (maybe a week?) I'm certain I will be in the 14's, but i dunno.
