      So you have...
      Intake
      exhaust(catback)
      3.42 gears with A4

      Do you have LSD?
Have you taken it to the track what was your 60', ET and mph?(helps us see where the car is hurting)
      Ever had it dynoed?
How many miles on the car?
Are you on the stock Cat?
      How old are your plugs/wires?
      Any misfires?
      Any trouble codes?
How old is your fuel filter?
      What year is your car?
Do you have tubular manifolds or regular?
Ever seafoamed or cleaned the upper intake?

Just experience with my car.(2000 with 40,000 miles)

-LSD, made simple, both wheels spin, when both wheels spin doubles your contact patch with the ground, helps you launch harder.

-With a misfire you might notice stutter in the car, 3.8Ls have been known to have ignition problems. I had misfire problems and one of my boots was cooked on my stock stuff around 40,000 miles. Will occasionally cause a blinking SES light(service engine soon, will show the car is seeing a trouble code). I replaced it no problems since.

-fuel filter change it to be safe easy and less then $5

-My cat clogged at 37,000 miles rattled and hurt topend power. They should last like 80k but its commone for the newer cats to die quicker. I asked the dealer if its commone for them to go out this early(I thought it wierd before I reasearched it) and he said its pretty common.

If your do replace it might consider a high flow cat... but research it out, some people have ahd problems with 02 sensors and o2 simms, I don't know never researched it.

-you have tubular manifolds they are more "headerlike" honestly in my opinion, I would look into other stuff before headers if you have tubular manifolds.

Ad for cleaning the upper intake... I woudl, help clean out the carbon buildup. I noticed a difference on my old car with times and Seat of the pants driving when I cleaned up my upper intake and thoroughly cleaned my Throttle body.

IF your car is not running 100% right, doesn't matter too much what mods you are putting into your car.

i think my cat may be clogged.....there is something rumbling that i dont like at all...if it ake it easy dont hear it...but if I accelerate over 3k i hear it....and if i sit there in nuetral and rev it i hear it....but when i floor it i dont seem to hear it maybe...or maybe that is just my exhaust taking over....but there is deff. something making noise and it seems like it is up around where you sit under the car....and damnet it pisses me off

also i jsut put CAI in it...does that have anything to do with the upper intake or is that something completely else?

so your saying i have tubular manifolds for sure? or that is jsut what they look like...?

do replacing plugs/wires do anything cuz i heard it is jsut a waste of money and doesnt really do much at all sept for maybe better running or something like that

ahh yes and LSD.....im pretty sure i got it...that is included in Y87 package right? RPO code of G80 i think, is that something i need to turn on or what?

clogged cat will often give a rumbling noise.

tubular manifolds will look like there is a tube coming from each mandifold and they come down into one pipe. 2000 have them stock. Regular manifolds, jsut go straight across the cylinders.

replacing GOOD plugs and wires doesn't really give much of a gain, but if you replace bad plugs and wires you will notice a big gain. plugs and wires "spark" the explosion in each cylinder, if its not working right, it will cause only a "lesser" explosion causing a decrease in power.
