• Time from last week.......

Ugh, it was a hot and muggy day!

VERY humid!

Race weight 3146
Tire psi front 46
Rear psi 21 <--- little bit higher than normal

Run 1

temp 79 degrres
humid 82%

mph.....73.72
1000....12.279
1/4.....14.750
mph.....91.03

Sigh, I spun. When I was doing my burn out w/ the line locks on the car yanked all the way to the right which gave me a horrible burn out.

Run 2

temp 81
humid 76
barom 29.47

r/t.....440
60......1.980

1000....12.011
1/4.....14.448
mph.....92.30

Well, I still had a horrible burn out and car yanked to the right again, sigh. Car hooked this time.

run 3

temp 85
humid 73

1000....12.031
1/4.....14.455
mph.....92.84

Again, burn out, car yanked to the right, ARGH! Spun off the line due to bad burn out

run 4

temp 89
humid 64
barom 29.41

r/t.....256
60......2.121

mph.....74.80
1000....12.137
1/4.....14.598
mph.....91.82

Bad burn out, car yanked to the right.

Something blew over the track so the run was stopped temporarily, I got another burn out, this time it yanked to the right soooo much more!

I was pissed off, and spun again!

Sigh.

All in all, 4 runs, 4 burn outs, all 4 yanked to the right during the burn out w/ line locks.

I tried both lanes, no change.

14.4 in that high a heat and humid is fine w/ me.

I just got back from the allignment shop, MAJOR change now! It was WAY out of wack, both front and rear!

Looks like things might be better now

Battery in trunk was all set up..... went to start the car that morning... NOTHING, even with a jump pack!!!

So, in 15 min I switched the battery from back to front.

I had ALL the extra battery cables, battery cut off switch, battery cut off handle, and battery box still in the bird plus almost 1/2 tank of gas which explains why the bird was heavier than normal.

Passenger side seat belt from headliner is gone now which was 4+ pounds gone.

Once I get the hawker battery that should put me at 2880 w/o driver

Those times seem pretty good for the weather.

Whats your best NA 60'?

Nice runs I ran the other day too... same crap I usully have jsut msd wires, and a hurst shifter, and I ran on my stock wheels with original tires, not my zr1s...

I had a best of a 14.8@93.XX with a 2.28 60' not bad mph considering it was like 75% humidity with a 60% chance of rain.

I was out of practice on launching but did ok overall.

summer no fun for new times but jsut fun to go heads up with other cars.

Hawgs beat me to it --- wtf in the rear was wrong?

I've heard that when burnouts walk, it's because of very small differences in rear tire pressure.

I don't know anything about allignments.

I wish I could answer that question

I got my car alligned today and my rear axle is not straight either. I have a thrust angle of 3 degrees on the driver side. the tolerance is between 0-5 degrees so im good.

how far out was yours.
