All those runs were at Bradenton Motorsports park (south of Tampa, Florida) yesterday, 90+ degrees outside and around 95% humidity.

These are my new times with my BFG Drag radials + my edge 2800 stall converter...running 3.08 open rear. I had a HARD time breaking into the 15's with street tires on my converter last month...worst mistake ever was going down there with a converter + goodyear eagle 235 street tires...my best run of the day was like a 15.9 last month..running 16.1's-.4's on the street tires...the weather was the same last month.

On average i'd say, just going to my BFG drag radials dropped me 5 tenths in the quarter with my open rear. I can't wait to get my 3.42 gears + posi installed and some freaking cooler weather to get some real times.

I ran a 15.647@87mph with just lid and free ram air+filter, but that was back in march when a cool front had just came though and it was around 70degrees outside and the air was dry.

Get a lsd! Your are not using those drag radials to their full potential. You said your worst mistake was running on goodyears, it wasn't. Its running a tc and dr's on an open rear.

why? if I ran a 15.8 basically in this heat and pulled those 60 ft times, I bet i could get a 15.2-3 in good weather.

thats about what a converter gains you, 5 tenths.

But I know i'm not using the converter to its full potential. The gears and posi + radials would be taking full advantage.

I also have a corvette servo that i could not get installed before yesterday ether.
