I ran my 13.4 on 18's. Around 28psi. I never got around to experimenting with lower pressures.

Actually the 13.4 was on the spray only. I switched to some ET Streets for another pass, and got it down to 13.2, so going from 18" street tires, to 16" ET Streets was good for .2 on my ET. That tells me the 18's weren't hurting me that bad... My street tires are pretty decent tires though, Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires.

I haven't combined nitrous and a blower yet. That's the killer combo!! :D

My best blower time was at 10psi, on BFG drag radials. That was a 13.6 et.

Without a posi, you'll be blowing the tires away... :D

Well one of them anyway.

BIG ADVICE HERE: if it's your first time to the track, and you'll only be getting in a few passes on the night ... just take it easy!

Don't use the nitrous. Don't mess with the boost and turn it up. Don't bother pulling too much weight out of the car, going radical with things. Just get a feel for the car, the track, what drag racing is, how to launch, etc.

You'll really regret things if you:
1. Make a bad pass
2. Get upset about 1
3. Dial up the nitrous to 150 shot to make that damned 12 sec pass on my last run
4. Blow up the motor from 3

Just take it easy. You probably wont run jack, but it all takes time and patience. As I always say, Eric (MustangEater) can outrun all of us on $0 in mods, because of his experience.

Exactly, as well as Hawg's statement.

i dont care if you have "NOS" or a supercharger, if you dont setup for it you wont pull crap. why did you spend money on that stuff with out more stuff done to your car? i've said it to someone else, i dont care if someone has 700hp and 800ftlbs of troque, if you dont have LSD, good gears and slicks, your not going anywhere fast. my guess is you'll pull a 13.89 or slower

haha...its ok man...theres definitely some more mods i need to make...im having some trouble with the nitrous and the blower at the same time...so i think im gonna go with a walbro 255 lph pump...and i DEFINITELY gotta get a different rear...gonna do that over the winter...the tires im kind of undecided on right now...i dont even know if im gonna bother running the nitrous at all...i went out to a dead highway last night and was using the mile markers to run 1/4 practices with a stop watch and i was getting all low to mid 13s with just the supercharger...so i think im just gonna go get the feel...get some track experience (yeah MustangEater is NUTS lol) ...and just cross my fingers for at least high 13s ...this is all if i dont get rained out of course ...it just figures that on my first night im planning to run we have scattered t-storms with a flood watch lol

PS: ..i TOTALLY agree with you...i dont care how much horses you have...if you dont know how to ride them...you're not gonna do ****...i've street raced for YEARS...on the highway...in traffic...wherever ...just finally moved over to sticking to the track (too many speeds and i dont want to kill anyone or myself lol) ...and i've kicked the crap out of cars that had like...DOUBLE the power of mine...but just cuz i was a better driver...on the street anyway...the track is gonna be a whoooooole different story

Personally I wouldn't run the juice...

Jsut go out and get a feel for what to even do at the track. Heck you don't even know where the shack is to pick up your slip yet.

Jsut go and get a feel for it.

As for the wheels, do you still have stockers with street tires. I woudl run those over the 18" vette rims.

I woudln't expect anything at all from tonight. Reason being you don't have anything judge off of from previous experience. Just go there get a feel for the car and how it reacts at the track. And even just to get a feel for the track alone.

Its alot different then racing on the streets.
