• What times do you think i'll run?

I'm planning on running my car at the track near the end of the month. By that time, i should have the following:

SLP Loudmouth exhaust
SLP airlid
K&N filter (already have)
SLP CAI induction

a decent intake/exhaust setup, i think. I'm a good driver (not a pro, but i think i have a good RT), i just need some tips to help me get the best time. My car is automatic, 3.08 open diff, what RPM should i launch at? and, assuming i get a decent RT, what times would i run?

15.8 or 15.7

try to stall to 1500 rpm

reaction time has nothing to do with your ET

and as we've said again, and again, and again, and again... weather plays a huge factor. i can't imagine racing in new jersey in the beginning of august is going to yield super times, but you can always improve when fall rolls around

I say you just won't run. Atleast not the end of this month ;)

I ran 15.2 with lid and exhaust only.. so anythings possible but it was in March too.. I had 3.42's and an open diff.. I'd say prob mid to high 15's.. depending on the air.

just really pay a LOT of attention to your first couple runs and learn from them...also since you're running a 3.08 open rear you can probably get rid of some weight and not have to worry about wheel spin...i say probably mid 15s first time out

PS: on my car ..hollowing out the cat and having a fully open exhaust made a BIG difference...check into that or a cut-out
