• going back to track tomorrow...

I have decided to go back to the track tomorrow night. I ran my first time last week and want to improve. I didnt stall or anything and launched late and didnt have time to run again. I am going to have 1/4 tank instead of full. No spare, jack, or backseat but seatbelts will still be in and i have changed the tire pressure. Now if i can stall it and get a good launch i think i can turn my 15.6 into a 14.9. I will let yall know how it goes.

I wouldnt hope for so much better cuz i never stalled my car and i nailed it from 800rpm and spun everywhere and got a late jump and bad r/t and got a 2.43 60ft. So i think i can do much better and i have adjusted tire pressure and am about 100 pounds lighter now.

your still looking for way too much. if you stall right, your r/t doesnt matter and you have bad gears and a peg leg. you not going to get much better even if you hook well. and 100 pounds is nothing. maybe a tenth of a second. i think you will get maybe a 15.4xx if your lucky. we'll just see wont we ;) but if im right and you dont even get close to 14.9, i want a cookie

It is hard to break into the 14's even after the gear swap(3.42s) and the lsd I did I couldn't hit a 14.9
