We've got a witty one on our hands... watch out.

If I was talking as much non-sense as 1dumbassV6 was then I would expect "sh*t to be stuffed back into my face", however I wasn't.

Is it dinner time at the Nursing Home yet? Is that why you bring up dinner?

again, now in a different forum,

          yuse guys crack me up

b - stock doesnt have to mean no mods..the motor could be stock..like mine...but the car can still have mods...suspension...exhaust...etc...in short...LEARN ABOUT CARS! ..cuz teaching you is getting tiring..then maybe you can make yours better......maybe
By this same definition, I can truly claim that my car is stock. hrmmmm 85 Firebird V6 running mid 15's stock

          Me: Yeah, It's a V6. Stock too. [mumbles quietly]stock 95v6[/mumbles quietly]

anyway, questions been answered, mid/high 16's, w/better times the more you race, or at least be consistent. Become a guru at bracket racing & it wont matter how fast you are.

Shirl is senile now too and isn't making any sense.

I am "crying the blues"? Is that what they used to do when Pearl Harbor was attacked? Tell us how it was back then Grandma, tell us what it was like when soda pops cost a nickle.

Go cry to your mommy...maybe she will care...but probably not... I think you were neglected as a child and need attention badly. I hope I am helping you out.

hehe yeah, I was thinking that too... man loses power for a few days and damn...

BTW I'd like to point out, though his advice is wrong, only person in this ENTIRE thread to actually give advice is 1dangerousV6, and timmy a little bit.

As for the term stock its all over the place, its like arguing if its called pop, soda, or coke.

Either way if you have a factory stock as in no mods 3.4L, and its running in great shape, you will likely run high 16s, maybe mid 16s if its in good shape.

What I reccomend... unhook the exhuast behind the CAT, there are 3 bolts on a clamp, unhook them and pull the catback ot the side. Then go buy or make a CAI, I used 3 in. PVC, and 3in, drainage couplings from home depot and a big a$$ K&N(like $15 in parts, and $40 for K&N)

here is a crappy pic of mine... don't look pretty but helped me out.

I suggest, having yours go down into the fender but being a florida resident, and knowing 3 people that have hydrolocked motors, I played it safe.

and of course some minor weight reduction. this stuff, I did sqeuze very high 15s out of but for the most part I was in the 16.0-16.2 very consistantly... on the stock gears, with those mods, and plugs and wires, and a 5-speed.

                            Andrew.Brandon ran a 16.1 at AIS III and he has a 3.4.
                            He usually runs mid 16's.

Back on topic, thomas if you have higher mileage, don't be surprised if you run low 17s until you do a few things. Mileage can kill your time unless you have rebuilt that 3.4L.

Mid 16s is possible but watch out.

I remember that. He did a few weight reductions, and he had exhaust I think too ;) .

I have seen stock 3.4's do anywhere from 17 flat to mid 16's. There isn't anyway possible one will run 15's, and when I say stock I mean NO modifications whatsoever, as the car was when it rolled out of the factory.
