Humidity was high 80's low 90's

None of the slips had temp, humid or absol barom on them which pissed me off.

I was told 89% humidity which is CRAZY.

Temp was up there too somewhere in the 80's.

I kept everything the same except for changing the rear adjustable drag shocks.

    Front tire psi 46
    Rear tire psi 21
Front drag shocks set to 1 ( aka all loose)
Launch rpm was 2700 rpm's stalled

The computer goes out tomorrow for tuning.

Seems like the bird likes #10 for the rear and #1 for the front.

The car is very predictable with its launches. Nice and straight. Also all my burnouts are nice and straight due to allignment.

Now, I have no idea how it will be with the nitrous... but so far I'm happy.

I'll be back to racing next saturday with the new tuning.

So you're running 14.5s in the summer? That 14.0 run was in colder temps with no other changes?

Yup, summer temps with high humid, 14.4 - 14.5's

The 14.0 was doine with full size tires in front and possibly a bit heavier... not much though.

Big difference with ET huh? Amazing what humidity and temperature does.

          decent runs... good 60's.

NOAA has all the meteorological stuff you could want. just give them the track's zip code; it even tells you elevation.

            Ncie runs for the summer...

and yes definitely depending on where your track is summer weather can really affect it.

So all that did was straightened out your launches? Do you think maybe that was because your old shocks were too soft? You are running a #10 so wouldn't that be the same as buying stiff shocks like 1LEs or Bilsteins? I don't really see a point in buying adjustable shocks for the rear.

For the front no doubt since you will be soft at the track but that would not make it for a good ride on the streets.

I run my shocks at 0 to 2 in the front, and the rears at 4 typically but sometimes harder. I run them harder if the track is hooking. Rule of thumb is to make them as stiff as you can.

Are you running a stock converter?

I'm not too concerned about the MPH, mine has always been quite low.

                    John, I have a proyank 3200 stall.

This was my first time out and horrible weather so I still have a lot to learn.

Notorious D, the reason why I added rear adjustable's is because the stock ones were completely worn out.

They had 1100+ passes on them and 93,000 miles.

Basically, I'd launch, the @ss end would drop, I'd hook, then the @ss end would bounce up making me loose traction somewhere just before the 60 ft mark

With the adjustable ones I am hoping for less rebound.

Still have lots to learn though

Auto with a bigger stall...that "low" mph is right in line with where it should be. On a 5 speed car it would be low I agree. Congrats James!
