Well, let me try some more ...
What kind of tires? Did you use those 18's at the track? What pressures did you run front and back?

I thought you were running 3.08 and open? But the site says "Performance gears $300"

Where do you inject the nitrous? If it's a dry kit, why three solenoids?

If you don't know about the performance stuff because your shop does the work, then just say that. But if you do do the work yourself / know about it, I'd love to hear.

I run a few car shows a year, I happen to have personal gripes against some kinds of cars. Not you ...

whats up wicked..the performance gears are yukon gears..stronger than GM....but still 3.08...the nitrous injects just after the maf and just before the tb (some guys say thats wrong but i just did what NOS tech said to do..seems to work fine)...i dont know where you see 3 selenoids?...you're probably looking at that blue fuel pressure thingy in between them?...for tires i had a brand new set of kumho ecsta supra 712s put on the rear the day before the races (same on the front)...im not sure what the pressure was cuz i didnt touch them after they were put on

18" Kumhos, 3.08 open rear, "hurt" motor, supercharger broken, nitrous causing problems... why the f*ck are you racing? makes no sense.

Honestly for me I see these times as believeable... he has a blower and juice... now his old 14.7 n/a that time was questionable but I don't think it was completely far fetched, but 95 trap speed in an auto with his mods... seems unlikely. but hey, I thought, maybe I might hit a 14.9 in my car, if I was lucky...

and 1dangerousv6, you are going to continue to get called out. Lots of ways to forge stuff on the internet get other peopels slips, etc... I mean hell you could have a friend with an ls1, with exhaust, and you jsut got his 3 slips from that night.

Video woudl be good proof, but its not easy to get and I have seen people refute that.

After seeing peopel get B.S. called and all the b.s. that got called on me when I first started psoting my times, I made sure, that board members from here and other sites(had 2 members from here one well respected, and ~8 from another site, all psot seeing my times), KNEW my car was out their and watch it go down the track and run the times, and officially state they saw me run my times.

I still had people call B.S., even had people that saw me run the times, argue with those people and still refused, at one point, I had scanned every timeslip I had inmy 3.8L(like 40ish), and the dates of each trip to the track I ever made in my 3.8L giving details of what things I pulled off, and what mph, and ET I gained as the night progressed and temps cooled, and I as I figured out shift points and launch techniques...

know what people still call b.s. on my times.

Just do what people requested, if they keep pushing you, you know what you ran, and your never going to convince some peopel unless you are right next to them at the line, race them, beat them and they get a copy of the timeslip.

Ok I understand the fmu is keeping your S/C from blowing the car up when it goes under boost. However since you have a dry shot after the MAF what are you doing to keep your car from exploding?

Mustangeater....good stuff...thanks man...i guess thats pretty much the way it goes...oh well then...i might be at englishtown on saturday with James and some others and they can watch me! lol

Reod...the NOS kit i have (5175? something like that?) actually handles the fuel itself...it has some part that senses how much nitrous is being injected and then adjusts the fuel pressure accordingly...John D posted a really good explanation on it somewhere...i dont know if it can handle me though ;) haha

First time I've heard of that but I don't follow nitrous much so I'll believe it.

i dont really understand it much either lol ...they told me about it when they were installing it and i was like...ummmm...OK lol...anyways...heres John Ds explanation from a nitrous post..

"It applies some nitrous pressure to the vacuum port on the fpr, which causes the fpr to restrict the return fuel line more than normal.

The fpr, and the fmu, are both restrictions in the return line. Whichever one is the most restrictive, will set the fuel pressure. They aren't cumulative.

So if the fmu is already kicking the fuel pressure up to 80 psi, and the fpr tries to kick it up to 80 also, you'll still just be at 80 psi."

why not switch to a wet shot?

im not actually sure how much the 02s come in to play...you're actually the first person to have brought that up...

switching to a wet shot would be cool...i know its better...but what specifically are the benefits?...and do you know about how much it would cost to convert?

If the o2 sensors compensate for something that has already been through the engine, the damage in already done ;) The initial uber lean could grenade the engine. That and o2 sensors if I remember correctly have very little to do with the computers tuning since they tend to vary even during normal driving by a nice little margin.

p.s: Yes I said "uber lean" dammit.
