so i ran a 15.29 @ 91 MPH with a blah 2.24 60' can't remember the humidity but it was in May bone stock, with a k&n, full weight, 25 psi rear, 36 up front.

I will be taking the back seats out, spare tire and jack, also raised the air box and took out the air silencer can i expect a 15.1???

Might be close, although I'd guess in identical conditions taking those out might take off a tenth.

15.324 is my guess. Depends on track conditions.
Remember to remove your air filter.

You're joking, right? - Running a car without an air filter can cause serious damage.

(Not trying to be mean or anything, just an FYI. I don't think it'd be worth the little bit of hp gain you'd get.)

Removing that amount of weight from the @ss end may make you spin :(

You could, in theory, run slower. Trut me, I've been there and done it :(

The weather conditions. Heat, humidity, pressure. It is a little hotter than it was back in May

Is this a top fuel dragster or a intake/exhaust V6 Firebird? ;)

Just go race and have fun; you're thinking way too much about it for a low 15 or high 14 second pass. I'd understand if you were going out to break records... but just go and have fun and see what happens.

Don't be taking out the filter unless you're at 14.000 and want to hit 13s. Too much risk for nothing really. Do real mods first.

A 15.19? Then you're talking about a tenth of a second off. A 15.10, then you're talking about two tenths.

It takes about 100 lbs of weight reduction for one tenth. Or about 8-10 hp.

Doesn't sound like you're taking 100 lbs off, and I wouldn't expect the silencer removal to be 10 hp. Between the weight reduction, and the intake mods combined, you might see a full tenth.

2.24 60's is all I could manage on street tires with my 3.42's and lsd. When running NA anyway.

i am NOT taking the filter off.... lol i would never do that. I'm a girl, but i'm not dumb i went 15.29 was thinking with better tires, and my upgraded rear which is posi, with the weight mods, and air flow mods... (also intake might be in the works) i may be able to see 15.20's or 15.1's dunno. have to race and see.. was just looking for people who've been there done that.

i dont have too much experience on the track...but i have experimented with taking out the jack/spare and the rear seats...it didnt really make a difference that i could notice...so i leave them in now and am putting the seats back in too...you'll probably run about the same...maybe a little faster...i dunno about .1 of a difference though...but obviously our cars arent exactly the same so...give it a shot...see what it does for you..and go from there
