Now, runs AFTER tuning:
Keep in mind, runs were from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Today was MUCH hotter than the previous day.
Humidity was NOT as bad.
I was sweating like a crazy person ALL damn day. This was a day of some bracket racing so some runs
are not completely WOT... but I'll indicate it
Good comments:
1) Car shifted at 5,900 rpm for each gear.. it has NOT done that before
2) Temp never went higher than 190, typical temp was just under the 185 mark
3) Speedo is correct
4) Car FEELS MUCH stronger than times indicate

BOG off the line, damn throttle cable is coming out.
Every single run the throttle gets partially stuck when I let off. The throttle cable has partially sheared away inside. Sometimes I get a bog off the line, that is next to be addressed.
So......this is with tuning....
I'm not making rash judgements.
I noticed that since the tuning I was trapping 75+ mph in the 1/8, pre tuning I was 74.
I noticed that since the tuning I was trapping 92+ mph in the 1/4, pre tuning I was 91.
I was expecting... 14.2-14.3
I have seen a reduction in ET and a gain in MPH, but no where NEAR what I was hoping for.
I want to wait another month or so to see how the bird reacts w/ cooler temps. I'm about 1/2 second off my best times N/A.
Keep in mind, my bird is NOT an N/A car, it is a nitrous car. I don't expect much gains N/A usually. This could be the mod to take me from a best of 14.07 to high 13's.
Temp's were in the low 90's - high 80's
The drivability has DEFINATELY improved due to correct speedo, shift points, fan temp, etc.
Race weight was 3100 pounds even
Last week it was 3114 pounds
Car is lighter now... new nitrous set up is in the bird so it increases weight... slightly less gas now... driver lost a bit of weight too
I was 196 pounds last week
This week 186 pounds
Tire psi reamined the same from last week
Shock settings front and rear were the same
The past couple months, the bird isn't stalling as high as it used to, I remember the days of 2900-3000 rpm launches.
Now, I'm seeing 2600-2800 rpm's
I haven't quite figured out that one yet... the bird just pushes forward which annoys me.
Well, I'm keeping an open mind on this tuning.
Also, remember this... this was MAIL ORDER tuning. The BEST way to get tuning done is OBVIOUSLY on the dyno with access to adjustments. I should redyno the bird to see where it is now.
I also have a perm SES light now.... 1336... crankshaft position sensor relearn.
We shall see........
