After installing 4.10s, I dropped about .09 from my ET and .14 from my 60'! These times will improve. I have 60 plus runs on the stock gears, and the shifting is now completely different with the 4.10s. Also it was humid yesterday, and there was a headwind. Back at it next week

I do now have to shift into 4th. The shifts are definitely where I have to improve. The 1-2 shift comes up really early. We're not sure, but it may be coming even before the 60'. I think I'm using a little too much clutch with the shifts, I need to get the pattern right. As for the torque arm, the car DEAD HOOKs from 4500 RPM, so I think chassis is pretty well prepped.

hopefully you can get back to the track under a little different conditions soon too. the headwind you were driving into all day had to be killing the car. tru2chevy was there and was off by nearly 2 full mph of trap speed. with teh 1 or so you were off alone the car would have easily gone into the 14.4's.
maybe we can get teh exhaust done in the next week or so along with taht k-member and hit off atco, or island the day after the njfboa gathering(island has a t&t on the 26th )

We put a bullet muffler in place of the cat. It's clamped really badly so I assume about 50% of the exhaust is going out behind the cat.

why did you use a muffler in place of the cat instead of just a pipe?...just curious...nice mods by the way...i'd like to do the k-member and a-arms too..shave off almost 50 lbs!

we wanted to remove the cat without making the car a ton louder and also the glass pack style bullet muffler will help eliminate some of the raspyness of the 3.8 exhuast note once we get the rest of teh exhaust system done.
