not bad, i hope to run around those times in the fall. have you done any weight reduction to your car? that'll help your 60' times. i went from a 2.175 to a 2.131 after removing some weight.

nope, no weight reduction. im going to try and stall it higher cause when i stalled it to about 1800(lights came on to quick for me ) so i got a 2.2xx 60' then i up it to 2K and i got back down to my regular 2.1s and then i stalled at 2200 that time i got a the new best and another that beat my old best. so, im going to inch it up till it doesnt help any more.

The newer cars seem to have a higher stall verter which is very nice.

Play around with it and see how high you can go, I think it is probably 2200 rpm's max.

It is amazing the difference between hotlapped times vs when the car is allowed to cool down

Practice some more and wait for that nice cold crisp air coming soon.

        Were you dead hooking?
        Tire psi?

        congrats

you, when my car was warm but hadnt beed driven in awhile is what it likes cause i would let it cool down and it wouldnt run as hard cooler (180ish) but if i let it cool and then warm up to 200ish, it would run the hardest.

um...dead hooking, i guess you mean no spinning, yeah, i didnt have any tire spin that i could tell.

my tire PSI was 35 up front and 30 in back. the first time i took my car to the track, i had the backs at 27 and fronts at 40 something and it ran slower. my car just like 30psi in the back

Lucky people that dont have tire spin lol. I'd kill for no spin.

Good runs man. Keep up the good work.

If your car is hooking fine with 30psi in the rears, then leave them at that for now....but pump the fronts up when you get to the track - 50psi is good. It will allow the car to roll down the track much easier.

But I am sure a gas station within ~2 miles of the track has one.

My track doesn't have a pump they woudl be smart to put one that took quarters, probably make alot of money from it.

hehe part of my ritual is I stop by a gas station, pick up something to drink like some gatorade or Code Red, see if I need any gas, I usually run it low but sometimes too low, check the air tires, and there is a dominos pizza connected to the gas station so I get some food, if I am hungry.

ohh yeah and depending on the time of hte year I get ice.
