Well tonight I was my first night at the track. Weather was about 65-70* and about 70% humidity. I removed the spare tire and back seats, but had a full tank of gas I ran with the mods listed in my sig. + adjustable fuel pressure regulator, shift kit, Aluminum driveshaft and completly aftermarket rear suspension. The car is a '95 3.4L Camaro. All the runs were made in Drive (no manuel shifting) and stalled to about 1500-1600 RPM before launching.
Times:
1st run, Fuel PSI was around 40-42 PSI
- 60 ft = 2.217
- 1/8 ET = 10.334
- 1/8 MPH =66.17
- 1/4 ET = 16.249 (best of the night)
- 1/4 ET = 83.02
2nd run, Fuel PSI about 45 PSI and opened up the cutout
- 60 ft = 2.279
- 1/8 ET = 10.436
- 1/8 MPH = 65.78
- 1/4 ET = 16.394
- 1/4 ET = 82.47
3rd run, Fuel PSI 48-50 PSI and cutout closed
- 60 ft = 2.275
- 1/8 ET = 10.386
- 1/8 MPH = 65.90
- 1/4 ET = 16.348
- 1/4 MPH = 82.09
Overall I was happy with how consitant the car was when though I wasn't in the 15's as hoped. What advice do you guys have to improve times based on the info I gave???
Thanks.
