Hey folks,
Just wanted to give you a heads up on this one. I've gathered it's not everyone's favorite track here, but it still sucks that it's closing. Ironically, I was there tonight with my g/f, and it was my first time ever at a drag race. They will apparently keep their regular schedule up until the last night.
BTW, there were a few f-bodies, all LS1's running 13's. The newer generation mustangs gt's were running 14's.
I saw a [likely turbo] 350Z run in the low-mid 11's.
There were a few ricers there, and not a one could break into the low 16's.
Everything else was built for the drag strip and not the street. Fastest thing I saw ran a 9.1-9.2
So after this place is gone, where should I go next that's nearby? Someone said there was one near Seguin on I-10, and I think I remember reading something here about another in SA.
