    Wish Dreaded Hope a 14.9

    Hi everyone......

    It's been a while BAD COMPUTER VIRUS

    I sold my 10 pound intercooled powerdyne to dreaded hope about four months ago..

    So far he went to the track once on only 5 pounds of boost and dropped his best ET from a 16.0 to a 15.0..

    Keep in mind that Daded Hope drags in Canada at a high altitude were LS1's run around 14.5.

    So a 15.0 is pretty good for his loction..

    Like I said... Only 5 pounds of boost..

    His set up is good for 8-10 pounds...

    We did a lot of phone calls and figuered out that the problem was tht I sent him two serpentine belts....

    One used 104.5 inch belt that had stretched out wayyy to far and a 102 inch belt that as brand new..

    I forgot to tell him to put on the 102 inch belt apon install and to use the 104.5 as a just in case belt....

    So he put on the stretched used belt and a 15.0 at 5 pounds of boost was the result..

    A second drop is not bad but we located the problem to the belt and now tonight he is aplying the new belt and going back to the track..

    In a perfect world he'll be at 8-10 pounds and run around a 14.5-7 tonight...

    RIGHT THERE WITH THE z28'S...

    BUT HEY EVEN A 14.9 WILL BE GREAT..HE'S SO CLOSE.

    does everyone at your track run slower than everywhere else in the country?

      Im in Hawaii where we run in 85 degree weather....

      You take any Z28 tht should be able to pull off a 13.7 and run it in 85 degree weather here in hawaii and it will run a 13.9-14.2

      Humidity heat and altitude can really screw you.........

      Some states are better than others for racing....

      Only one track on the island..

      Dreaded Hope lives in Canada at a high altitude...

      His track is alost a half second slower than the average if I remembe correctly.
