it was in the low 70's high 60's with barley any humidity in NH were i was last night...but i ran slower than my stock times(15.48) but with higher trap speeds

r/t-.932
60'-2.225
330'-6.483
1/8th-10.047
mph-67.72
1000-13.109
1/4-15.664
mph-88.33
That was my best run of the night

then my worst was
r/t-.663
60'-2.490
330'-6.881
1/8th-10.475
mph-68.35
1000-13.553
1/4-16.119
mph-89.13

Work on the 60' for sure, I cut about a 1/10th better 60' on an open diff same tranny and gears.

I am hoping once I get my lsd in that I will be seeing 2.0s, maybe a 1.9. 60' Other then that the runs look ok, decent mph.

I usually run the same sometimes slower when I add mods until I change my driving down the track to accomodate the difference the mods made on my car.

i dont mean to be rude but your reaction time is not very good, ive only run my car once at the track( one night) i made 4 runs and my reaction times were between .120 and .290 every time. when i arived i had no idea what to do. the track guy yelled at me for having my window down. then told me how to launch with the tree. perhaps you should work on that.

When I first started racing I thought you wanted the reaction time to be as small as possible but this is wrong.. You want your RT to be as close to .5 as possible... I was at the track with silver96rs and he wasnt doing as well as he wanted to but he is a good driver.

work on your launches and consider doing some susepnsion work. your trap speeds indicate you should be able to cut a low 2.1 to mid 2.0 short time.
if you already have an LSD i suggest you get a good torque arm(nothing fancy, something similar to the SLP or BMR adjustable will work fine) and replace the stock tranny mount with a poly one. the difference it makes in the way the car takes off is night and day.

get those 60' times down. i have a 2.131 60' on an open diff and 3.08 gears.

also, something in my mind isn't clicking with the 1/8 mile times and trap speeds and the 1/4 mile time and trap speeds.

my best 1/8 mile is 9.848 @ 70.32 MPH. the 1/4 mile for that run was a 15.489 @ 86.48 MPH.

you're running a 10.047 @ 67.72 MPH 1/8, and then a 15.664 @ 88.33 MPH 1/4. you trap about 2-3 MPH higher than i do, but with slower times.

Ok, biggest misconception, R/T's MEAN NOTHING when it comes to ET's.

R/T's = reaction times
R/T's = when the last bulb turns green to when you react and get that car moving.

You could have a 1 minute R/T and run the exact times.

Silver- focus on your 60's. The 60 ft time really reflects the car and driver. I've cut 2.2's in my neon. Knocking off .1 in the 60 foot seems to respond by .2 in the 1/4.

MPH shows the true potential of the car.

Don't fret, practice with those 60's and the et's will get better!

Could be possible I have the problem with the clutch too, I spin at alunch and spin on the 1-2 shift. Then take off like a bat out of hell for the rest of the track.

If peopel are giving out free aftermarket clutches, get in line behind me, I have some goodies that want to go in if I have a better clutch in the car.
