• Light weight battery ordered

http://www.gotbatteries.com/ProductP...FamilyID=SL167

http://www.gotbatteries.com/Productp...ctNum=30Z101B1

This battery weighs 12.0 pounds.
My current Optima Red Top weighs in at just over 40 pounds

So, 28 pounds off the nose

This would take my N/A curb weight into the 2800's.... 2888 is predicted :D

N/A race weight would be expected around under 3100 pounds :D 3073 expected.

Nitrous adds 24 pounds per bottle

Speculation on racew weight w/ nitrous is around 3121 pounds

Updates shortly

fyi you can't run lightweight battery in trunk.

Also, and no offense.. but if you stopped spending $$ on weight reduction and other misc things and finally bought yourself some actual TIRES THAT HOOK you'd run considerably faster.

Are you racing for ET or MPH. Come on dude, hook it and run new #'s already.

Nah, battery will be under the hood.

I'm very confident that I have the right suspension set up FINALLY.

Also the weight relocation should help.

I'll be running this saturday and should have new updates

dude, you're not fast enough to need to tweak your suspension.

Suspension is not your problem.

Its tire. If you can't dead hook the tire to cause the weight to transfer all the suspension in the world isn't going to give you a sticker, wider and taller tire.

FYI, I cut many 1.4's on stock V6 suspesnsion all around. Just had BMR rear LCA's.

Well, we all know how pig headed I am

Remember how long it took for me to FINALLY switch to a 3 inch exhaust?!?!?!?!?

Trust me, I am paying attention to you.

I know you are cutting mid 1.4's which is crazy.

I'm not buying tires close to the end of the season. I will run out what I have now and then progress next year.

What tire/ size would you suggest?

what tire do you run now?

fyi, it is SO easy for me to remove engine/trans/pcm now.

I could very easily just pick up a junkyard V6 setup and spray it into the 10's. If you do not start making me proud I am going to get pissed and just do it myself. ;)

hehe, and you call that tank of yours light?

i still say you put soem gear in that thing. it will help you heat real tires and give the car a huge gain down track.
i will be at slp day if you want any help tuning the suspension.

28x9x15 ET DRAG on a 15x8 is what I run. If you run that you would be able to spray out of the hole, hook it, and run records.

I know you have a torque arm.
There are drag swaybars out there although I don't think that's the issue.

Like mag said cutting 1.5s spinning on ET Streets is actaully pretty good, with a full out drag tire you're gonna be setting records and hooking hard.
