• UPDATE: Back from the Re-tune(GRAPH POSTED)

Just got done w/the retune with the headers open. The base dyno numbers were lower than my original dyno. First pull made 253.8hp. We ended up getting 3 more HP and it made 256.8hp/249.0tq. The difference could be in air, the dyno corrections, and other small things. They're big fan was broke so they had to use a smaller fan. That could be worth some more power. I know it makes more HP than through the exhaust because it runs quicker down the track but overall im happy with the results. On the last pull we took the belt off to see how much more it would make. It made 271.4rwhp/259.4rwtq. 15hp and 10tq!! Since I normally make atleast one pass with the belt off. anyways we'll see if it runs quicker as soon as i can get to the track.

BTW, my rear draglites came in today so next time out ill get to run a bigger tire and leave the line at more RPM. Maybe a low 1.8-high 1.7 60' is coming!

Ugh, I'm still dissappointed with my initial results.

Badass Lance. I can see 270 from your car happening with the exhaust opened up! When are you coming to town?

because your O2's will be contaminated by outsided air and your PCM will continue to add fuel.

This will be less of an issue with the 3.8 though because the O2's are farther up the stream.

I think you should be ok as long as you run open y-pipe and not open headers.

I have work until 5:30, and then work until 8:15 Lance...Looks like a no go for today unless you're there and I happen to make a trip out there to deliver them some parts. Have fun, and definitely drive safe!!!

The re-tune is at 9 Friday morning Matt.

The extensions on my headers are fairly long and ive never had a problem so far. There are pictures on page two of pictures in my site. Hopefully it'll all turn out good.
