good god that 60 foot is killing you. you could easily be low 15's with a flat 2.0 60 foot. You don;t need a LSD, just some practice. My friend with just a flowmaster, lid and K&N runs 15.0 with a 2.1 60 foot all stock suspention, open diff and dtreet tires. Just get some practice and get that 60 foot down. your MPH is doing pretty good and it fine for a lot more then 15.5
um. hello.. 2.1 on an OPEN diff on my friends car with street tires, full of air and a slipping clutch with all stock suspention. just because you might not know how to drive doesn't mean that everyone can't.
i saw your first post and i dont give a **** what you f-ing friend did. most poeple cant. and who the hell do you think you are telling me i cant drive?
who are you telling him that he can't? ;) your just assuming that he can't. Maybe he can with practice. Sure an LSD would be great. But if he still can't pull a better 60 foot with it then what was the point? Even with a 2.1 My friend still has a plan to get an LSD and gears cause yes, they work great. but an LSD will not make up for not being able to launch. Practice will. then use the 2 to go a sub 2.0 60. Why do you automaticly think that he can't drive?
not taking sides here but sometimes the tracks are so crappy that no matter how good u can drive the 60' wont get any quicker. I dont know if thats the case or not but yea...I ran at Lone Star Raceway in Sealy, Texas one time when my car still had an open diff. There was no way around the water so u had to pull through it, now matter what u did you couldnt hook, u could leave like u were at a stop sign then floor it and it would still spin in the upper RPM's...i think the best 60' i had that day was a 2.48
but your saying that he can not inprove that at ALL untill he gets a limited slip? I know a lot of people without LSD running a lot better then a 2.5 60 foot. Hell maybe track prep was really crappy. It;s kinda like saying that no V6 will run 14's without a power adder.

your right, LSD is somethin you need.
good job by the way
hows about you shut up leave HBH alone (knows alot and i'm glad he's hear, just alittle to late for my project :( )
and stop cutting down members becuase they got a 2.5 60 foot, i know i'm going to need practice i have never been to a track before.. im sure i have to learn how to lanch my car.
back off and help him out or just don't post

I think all BLLDOGG said was that 2.0s are going to be VERY difficult to get without a LSD. Obviously he isn't doing that great of a job launching if he pulled 2.5 '60s. He probably does need to learn how to launch better before getting a limited slip though, I'm sure those '60s could be cut to at least 2.3. Good job btw, thats a very good trap speed. indeed. not everyone can do it right out of the box. It;s tricky but if you can never spin you can practice getting it right. My friend apears to be a natural at it. Some are, some are not. but there are a good .3 of a second there if you can get that 60 foot down. and best of all it requires no money, just practice
