what do you have them set at to race?
how much pinion angle are you running?
what rate are your front springs and how long are they?
have you ever corner weighed the car? or have a rough idea of your front to rear distribution?
i will get that car to hook comin off the line with the 125 shot hehe

I run 34 on the street.
Some people say go for somewhere in the 50's...... but.... that is a VERY high psi. If I lost a front tire at high speed due to high psi... that would suck.
hat would your suggestion be... and why? I'm curiousRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

you could easily put your tires to 60psi and not blink an eye in the short duiration of a drag race since on the hottest of hot days you are not rolling for long enough to build up heat and raise the pressure enough to cause damage.

on my old 91 rs i had the mickey thompson fronts that are rated at 75psi on the sidewall, i would routinely run them at 90 on race days and never had a failure or even a stress mark appear in the tire. when i use road tires the minimum i go on the rolling end of the car is 55.
it will help reaction times, 60ft, and trap speed for free. it is a real easy win for anyone lookin for a little bit of help.
