  • **!!!!New worst!!!**

    I've successfully out done myself!

For all of you that saw Pathogen run at SLP Day in Englishtown, you ain't seen nothing yet!

Light went green, the car came up, went maybe to the tree and ... well that would have been the end of the run for most cars but not Pathogen. Oh no, the little blower that could continued on in an attempt to catch the 12.4 second Trans Am ahead ... at about 1/3rd power (at best). .... I however, was pretty much just there for moral support.

In the back of my head all I could think was "Please ... please please please, don't make they have to tow me off the track."

RT: .7161 (watching tach and trying to get that perfect launch)
60FT: 2.8843<-- Upper intake comes off
    330FT: 8.6047---/
1/8 ET: 14.6888-\ Somewhere in here engine stalls
1/8 MPH: 38.28 <-- before here car restarts
    1/4 ET: 31.4320
1/4 MPH: 28.27 <-- car crosses finish line and limps back to the pits

Someone else want this car? LAUGH ... I need an exhaust shop in my back pocket to weld my car into one solid pipe ... that should solve my problem.

Sounds like you're building too much boost?

Did you get the blow off line replaced since SLP?

umm .. maybe I need to clarify - "upper intake pipe" motor still runs great ... car loves this weather, just doesn't do well off the line.

Pathogen just needs a better fit and clamp for the intake pipe to the throttle body. That peice of rubber aint working

are you kidding me?? No way, I was jut coasting a long hoping to have enough momentum to get to the first exit.

I had let off the gas pretty much at the 60'.

                          1) Clamp
                          2) Llearn how to launch Spec 3 (Had a great conversation about this clutch over the weekend. Think I've got the theory down now.)
                          3) Little bit of suspension and weight reduction work

I've got about three more track days setup ... so ... then off to suspension shop ... and get my freakin' pipes welded!

JAMES! I own you in the slowest 1/4mile catagory! HA!
