    Please, don't NOT get a driveshaft loop now!.

    Personally, this is a MUST mod for ANYONE who runs 1/4 mile.

    If you have a quick car, run drag radials or a slick this is a HUGE MUST!

    A couple local guys went w/o them and lost a d/s. I saw the carnage and found out how expensive the repairs were.

    It is not worth taking chances!

    You can pick them up for.... $50?

    GET ONE!

      Doesn't the stock tunnel brace provide the same type of protection and prevent "polevaulting" in the event the shaft comes apart at the yoke?

        No it does not.

        It is a flimsy piece of metal.

          ^^yeah...i took mine off to replace it with rksport's tunnel brace...you can literally bend it with your hands...rksport's DS loop is a bit pricey...$130 i think...but its pretty nice...i think theres a pretty good one on fasttoys.net too [img]smile.gif[/img]

            IIRC Spohn's DS Loop is about $80 powdercoated...or you can look around at some site sponsers and see what they have to offer.
