• Bad day at the track

2 N/A passes
2 nitrous passes..... well attempts at nitrous passes.

One nitrous pass was an 18 second run I think? I gave up on that pass.

The other was a 13.0 pass.

Had nitrous issues and wicked backfires.

Seems like my exhaust has been cracked somewhere underneath and I don't yet understand why.

Bird sits in the garage right now.

 <--- now

It runs fine, no SES lights.... that is the part that confuses me.

I haven't pulled the plugs yet.

No more nitrous passes this year.

1 last outing N/A

No visible damage, except exhaust issue which needs further investigation

Dunno, that will be an indicator if there is internal damage or not.

Was the weirdest thing too, wicked backfires off the line, BOOM, then car takes off

Did you do anything different to the car at all, regardless of how small?

definitely...thats weird it didnt stall on you or anything (mine always did when i had dry backfires)...you dont see any damage outside...so i would think that would mean either there is no damage...or the damage is where you cant see it...inside....id have it back out there N/A asap...hopefully everything is still all cool...then id do a compression test or something just to know for SURE...with no SES light on though...im thinkin you probably came CLOSE to having some serious damage...but that things are cool if not minor

The only thing that was different is I ran 1 extra gallon of 100 octane cam 2 from last time out.

These nitrous jets (125 shot) are a guesstimate, not dyno proven.

Last time the bird was wideband tuned with nitrous was 2 years ago. Who knows what it is at now.

I'll probably yank the solenoids off and have them flow tested, once back on time for dyno tune again.

Any update on what is causing this yet? What did the plugs look like? Why did you think the exhaust has a leak/crack? Weird noises or visual damage?
