Yea, the two-step is a neat trick. It is pretty much only for the M5 guys, because it utilizes the Park/Neutral switch to determine the RPM. This allows him to set his 'neutral' rev limiter to whatever RPM it wants to launch at. As soon as the car starts to roll out, it goes WOT.
Craig - I still say you should have let us take the belt off. Are you gonna be around tonight? We can test the battery run time over on Whitehead.....

Pull the belt off and it will be atleast .1 quicker, maybe closer to .2! There is definately enough battery power to make one pass and make it back to the pits. There may be enough for two, ive never tried it. Way to go though man, its running damn good!

Basically I set the rev limiter in Park/Neutral to whatever I want to launch at. As soon as the clutch is engaged it goes back to the in-gear rev limiter (6000rpm). So basically after I am staged, I put the gas pedal to the floor and leave it there until I cross the finish line. Everyone needs HPTuners!
hmmmmm...nice tip ;) </font>
ahhhh damnit...figures a sweet tip for my biggest problem area (the launch) is for an M5 only lol

You will have more then enough bat power for 1 run. I have done 5 runs. I just suggest run with your lights off(keep the e-brake up one click) And turn them on down the track.
Only thing you have to worry about is the temp of the car, make sure it is at least below the 1/4 hash mark. If you are going to run. If its less its even better.

I am using 3000 rpms with street tires and 3.42 and I get very consistent 2.1 60' times.
That run I set it to 4500, that's with DRs and 4.10 posi. It bogged down to I think something like 2300, so I think I may have to launch even higher. </font>
are you dumping @ 4500? seems like any higher and you'd spin.
feathering?
