Good man! You've got a helmet. That's a step up from some others on the board.

For what it's worth, when I wear my harness, I just let the stock belt dangle next to me. Doesn't get in the weight at all, and I'm not going to stress the bolts on my safety gear in the name of weight reduction. Same thing fo the harness -- I let it dangle when I'm driving around town. A note: you're not supposed to expose harness webbing to light / temperature change / moisture. But since I'm only using it to hold me in place at autocrosses (and none for a while now), I just decided to leave it in.

And for the 5th point link, I bolt on a piece of steel between the front seat points, and this piece has a little piece of metal with a hole ot bolt the 5th point to.

It's also easy to just snap the passenger one into the clip to hold it tight.

EDIT - actually the rear part of the harness is going to bolt on to where the rear seat belt housing used to bolt on (on the top of the rear deck on the driver's side) ..this will make less of a drop in the belt behind me...i was reading and they said that if you have a front end crash and have the belt mounted to low behind you..not only can it cause spinal injury from the belt pulling your should back and down.. but the belt will have a tendency to pull up and out of the bolt holding it...instead of being horizontally behind you where it would have more strength due to the angle...this spot would put it at a perfect angle...until i get my roll cage of course..the two lap belt bolts will just use the factory front seat belt bolts
