And there is no way adding gears to mix would get me into the 14's. If you want 14's out of a 3.4 you have to dig into the heads/intake/and cam.
what did you have in terms of drag suspension? having teh correct shocks, springs, torque arm, control arms, relo brackets, and not too big a tire is good. also drop teh front sway for more weight transfer.
since 95 shoudl still be OBD1 there are plenty of programmers for it. you can correct all timing and fuel tables for your needs as well as correcting other ET helpers like TC lock up and shift points in auto's.
there are a number of inline electric water pumps available. the nice thing about inline is that it is generic and can be adapted to fit nearly any application. another alternative would be to get an electric drive kit.
a real set of gears would prolly help you more than you realize. cars that are underpowered/over weight benefit greatly from correct gear selection. with a 3.4 i would go for a set of 4.56's in a heart beat. car would be a completely different animal after the install.
150lbs is a good start, if you want a fast "drag" car you could easily dump another 200-250lbs and still have a basically full appearing interior. weight reduction is one of those multi benefit things, your et's will drop, trap speeds increase, and lighter cars get better mileage on the way to and from teh track too

i say 14's are there wihtout killing a moderate budget. there is no need to worry about huge head and cam combos to get into the 14's. jsut match up teh rest of teh car and you can get it done.

Have any links to these electric water pumps? Also the only tuner I can find for my '95 3.4L is Mega Squirt which is basicly for everything. I'm in need of a really good OBDI programer

I had a panhard rod, relocated LCA's adjustable TA with a -1 degree pinion angle, and interior weight reduction.

for the programming go to www.thirdgen.org and check out teh DIY prom board. a lot of the programming work that has been done there can be used on the flash programmable OBD1 set ups too. mega squirt is a nice set up, but i don't think it is emmissions compliant in most states if that is a concern for you.
the water pump i was thinking of is available through jegs and summit. it is made by deadenbear(sp?) they make very light and durable pumps.
your susepsnion set up sounds like a pretty good basis for better et's. what was your 60ft time? any wheels spin? do you have an auto or stick?

I have an Auto, and my 60ft's were 2.1-2.2 on street tires with no spinning...I can't wait to see what they're like with slicks

stick to small tires. look for a 235/60-15drag radial and drop teh front sway bar when you go to the track.
get yourself a good torque convertor. no need to get crazy with it, something between 2600 and 3000 stall will work great. add a strong shift kit with it and your et's will drop dramatically.

Only suspension I had was poly torqeu arm bushing, and a 21mm rear sway.

I had 3.42s, lsd and street tires, and I ran a best of a 15.4 and 15.5s all day long. I pretty much just had a full intake and exhaust, along with the mods listed above.

Pull the drivebelt, run something like 3.73s, and cut 1.8 60's like "stockv6cam" did, and my car might have seen high 14s.

Thats not even including some sort of race rubber or more suspension or gear.

I think 14s are doable without heads/cam/poweradder.

I checked out ThirdGen and couldn't find anything useful. DHP has my PCM right now trying to figure out tuning but its not going to be anything special. I can use mega squirt to tune for fuel and spark, then I just need something to tune shift points, gears, and the other basic stuff.

i will talk to a friend of mien about teh tunign thing. i know he has done several LT1 cars that have ODB1 in them. i don't see why the V6 car would be any more trouble once he finds teh correct bin file.
i will see what i can find out and let you guys know.
