• ran the car the other night.....crappy results

best time was
r/t .594
60' 2.414
330' 6.701
1/8th 10.270
mph 69.423
1000 13.315
1/4 15.952
mph 84.123

mods are headers stock rattling cat (will be changed next week), loudmouth, and a lid.

for the life of me I cant launch, all I do is spin my passenger wheel (open diffy) rear tires are 265's, and were at 21psi. Temp was ~56, so I think that might be it along with the differential.

stock I ran a best of 16.1 @ 86, so you can see why I'm pissed.

only way I can get off the line is to ease into it like I'm driving on the street, then once I'm moving gun it.

I will be taking off my exhaust this weekend in preparation for the track weds night, so I will be running open headers.

I have a couple vids of me running (one against 916 topher ;) ) if you wanna see how I have to half *** launch it.

any help would be appreciated
I guess I\'d have answer your question with another question.

How many Abidiginals do you see in modeling??????

headers, 3inch magnaflow cat, Loudmouth
99 Midnight Blue Firebird
3.8L A4

other runs were worse, first run of that night was a 16.8 @85 w/ a 3.xx 60' time. It wasnt till the end of the night that I actually eased into it.

my tires are Bridgestone Potenza S-03's

cant remmeber my stock 60' time :( I do remember that it was my best et of that day (the sun was still out for that run)

aside from practicing, could the cold temp be a factor as to whay I'm not getting traction?

Yes the cold is good for air temp in the intake but not the pavement itself.

Bridgestone Potenzas suck for drag racing, I know from experience. My stock Goodyear tires got better traction.

Even with the horrible 60' you mph is down too..With those mods you should be trapping 90-92 not 85...I'm trapping 88 bone stock with 108k miles.

When was the last time you did a tuneup etc? Sounds like something is wrong with your car.

And I agree with whatever driving/traction problems you shoudl be trapping better mph.
