  • carolina dragway . . . fragged clutch

Tonight was (minus breakage) a good night lots of fast cars (04 GTO w/ a 7.5L!) (a few wrecks,a nitrous backfire. . .etc) This was my third time at a track. I was able to make one run . . grenaded my clutch on that run but, here is the break down:
2.647 60' (spinning bad need practice)
    6.946 100'
    9.896 1/8
    72.55 1/8 mph
    14.885 1/4 et
    88.10 1/4 et
So now comes the what clutch do you guys recommend?. . stock obviously cant handle jack.

Wow, that was confusing. I couldn't figure out how the hell you ran a 14.8 with a 2.6 60'. Had to look at your post history to find that you're running FI.

As for the clutch, Spec stage 3 or 4 is about the most common.

3:42's with an auburn lsd (5-spd), powerdyne w bov, 2.65" pulley, hard to remember. . . pacesetter headers, cut out, still questioning the tune I got (mail order -intense-). and a bit of p/p on intakes and of course weight loss (weight ??). Sounds like a rattle snake when I start it up now clutch is in pieces.

I ordered a spec stage 4 and a few suspension parts this morning. Will be at the track again a week after the parts get here.
