        </font>[/QUOTE]BF drags are GREAT tires

They might be a bit much for him though at this point in his modification level.

Also, I got 2 seasons out of my nitto's
Only one season out of my bf drags.

I will still continue to use bf drags for n/a passes because they are SOOOOO much stickier, a smidge wider (10 MM), and require less of a burn out to get sticky.

Just my opinion... for his mod level... he may want to try nitto's

        BF's are MUCH better though

for tires i woudl look into a set of 235/60-15 bfg ot m/t drag radials. that is the size little g uses to cut 1.88 60ft times in his 5spd 3.8 car.
i would suggest you buy an upgraded torque arm before you worry about tires though. the tires will turn into a band aid on a bigger problem.
also look into good control arms and some control arm relo brackets.

How often are you going to the track, and will you use them only at the track, or will you drive there and back on them?

are you only plannign to run the 12's you mention in your sig?
if you are in teh 12's i would suggest drag radials. bias ply's roll heavier than a radial tire, so despite the loss of weight teh additional rolling resistance will cost you trap speed.
you can get 100+ shots out of hoosier qtp's or m/t et streets with a reasonable burnout, you can get a lot more than that out of a set of m/t et street radials that will have plenty of grip for you to cut low 1.6 or 1.5 60ft times.

dont aim to break the record, aim to demolish it, a 15.anything should not be the record

what was erics car running, a 15.3xx or somthing like that?
