• Well, I'm in the 15's again!

The times are here after opening day on 3.06.05. I was spinning very bad and on the one run I didn't hook til 3rd gear. I can't launch this car but, this was my first time racing in this. My MPH is great (I think) so I know the car can run a mid-low 15 1/4. I will try again next next. Overall, I am happy, 15's the first time out and an awsome mph for the times I ran.

SOrry I didn't show up yesterday. I had a blowed out exhaust gasket. I didn't want to tick my way down the track.

My turbo is on, and the car is a rocket. By rocket I mean that it constantly has bugs to be fixed.

Me and Chas are already planning on being at the track this coming weekend.

        SO I'll look for a yellow cavy # 8474

        I haven't been to MIR, so I don't have a # yet.

My car is easy to spot. It is red with a black roof, hood scoop, and spoiler.

WIth the turbo it sounds like a honda accord with twin fartcans.

I don't suppose you have a set of DR's for your old camaro lying around do you? Mine are at a friends house in Kansas, where I used to live. He is shipping them to me, but they won't be here this week. I guess for the shakedown run on my turbo, I will just slip and slide off the line.

Is MIR really strict about safety stuff?

At RIchmond and Witchita, they will let you race as long as your head is properly attached to your neck.

I might break 13's, and I don't have a helmet. My battery is properly secured. WHat else do I have to have as far as safety?

You will need a helmet. I have one if you need it, I just need to get it from my parents house. I don't think you will run a 13 with street tires.

James Cavy > Neon as so as I drop my 60's, what are yours?

I've seen plenty of Camaros (Z28s) run 13s on street tires, I know at Gateway, right by St. Louis, you dont need anything, only a roll cage if you dip into the 10s.

No, intake, exhaust, motor mounts and a shifter. Mostly stock. I had a bunch of stuff in the car and the whole system, I wanted to run in full street setup.
