Just as soon as they get here...

Alot of people on v8 boards have trouble with 28" expanding at 125-130 mph trap speeds and have cut the back of the fenderwell/bumper cover to make room or a 1/2 inch adjustment with LCAs.

Im pretty confident there wont be any probs with 27s.

No, but they'll hook really hard and take gear away. You need 4.10's

is there a reason you need such big tires? unless you are running well into the 9's i can't see any reason for using anything larger than a 275 section radial.

he got them for really cheap, thats why he has 27" tall tires. Like i said, he needs 4.10's, maybe more.

Yeah I picked up some 27x10.5x16's... So far the 3 NA runs on them were rough. But I was bogging like a mofo. I can't do 4.10's I drive too much for them.

Good for nitrous off the line or if your redline at the finish.

I used mt et 26x11.50x16's. I hooked better on my nitto's. I didn't have the power for the mt's tho, If I had ever finished my n2o setup they would have been fine.

I run a 27x10.50x15 on the TA. As far as clearance, it's close but I've had no issues. I run a 3.73 gear and a 3500 stall (soon to be 4000 stall). As long as you have the power to move it, then it's a good hooking tire.
