Well.... I'm still on the learning curve w/ them

        I run a 26 X 10.5 X 16 mickey thompson et street.

If memory serves correct..... I like 15.5 - 16 psi

That psi must be seen RIGHT before a run. Tire psi will increase after the burnout.

I'm not 100% sure of my post burn out psi in the et streets.

As for burn out.... w/ 3:23's.... roll through water box and a quick snap of the tires to get them wet.

Roll out, hit the line locks and spin....a quick snap of the gas and then keep it going...

I watch for smoke.... once I see smoke... I count 7-8 seconds?

It does depend on track conditions, temp, suspension set up, launch style etc.

It is something that you need to practice w/ and learn.

I couldn't just say... run X amount of psi and do an X amount of seconds of burn out.... you need to find out what works for you.

Maybe we will run into each other at etown/ island... and practice.... I gotta get motivated for maryland

Just watch out, if you have never been on ET streets, the car can get a little wobbily at the top end of the track. soft sidewalls and low psi, feels kinda weird for the first time. but the sound of rocks beating your bumper at all times is priceless!

i had et streets on my maro when i was trying to get into the 13's at the end of last season. i had my tach at 5000 rpms and dumped the cluth and i still bogged. i guess im not worthy of ET streets yet. Booooo!

When I first started using them, it felt like the car was sliding on ice... very weird feeling... I probably didn't heat em' up enough or something..

Low psi makes them floaty top end.

I run 16 psi! At 110 mph... 16 psi in a tire... is not fun
