Modest burn out. rear drag shocks to 9. front to 1. skinny tire 50 psi. drag radials 23 psi. Stalled to 2600, could not go higher, car lurched through the line, had to put in reverse and restage, then, spun a bit.

Bracket racing

mph......96.97.......91.88
I shoulda kept in it on the above run! Comparing it to my 13.931 pass of last year.... this would have probably been a 13.8 run. With bracket racing you want to come as close as possible to your dial in w/o going faster than it
I did a good burn out, front shocks to 1, rear to 6, skinnies 50 psi, drags 19 psi, stalled to 2400 and smashed the throttle
Now.... you may say....... 4:10's gained NOTHING?
I said this also..... but.... I've been experiencing this lack of stall situation... car pushing at the line...mushy brake pedal.. I SHOULD launch at 3,000 rpm's but could not see it.
Brake pads new
Rotors fine
Fluid changed
Tires good
Seeking assistance from my hard core drag racing buddies led me/ them to one conclusion.
Bird has 95,000 miles on it
1200 passes on it
Repeated 2500-3000 stalled launches
Front rubber brake lines are swelling upon prolonged high stalls! So..... time for steel braided brake lines. I've got my summit mag next to me now....and...Russel and Earl's makes kits.
Once those are done.... back to the track... I should have them here/ installed by the end of the week and attempt again.
Craig..... you had a good shot today to beat me
I'm only gonna get quicker
Oh yeah....
