I wouldn't be surprised if james owned the only front engine rwd car that had more weight distribution to the rear. Next time I'm at the track.... I should pull half the car on the scale and try and get a 50/50 split weight.... won't be effective..... best way is individual scales in all four corners.
The car is damn light!Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

lol I'm not saying it can't be done, but you can't blame me for being skeptical lol.
Its not everyday you see a car that is only trapping mid 90s pull a wheel, even if it is just a lil bit.98 Firebird. See it here: http://www.burnoutbrigade.com/BBchrisb.htm

Not everyday you see a v6 with that much weight reduction. So yea believe the tire coming off the ground man.

no offense james, i have known you for a long time man. but i too am skeptical about yanking the fronts on a 1.9 short time. i can't think of a car that i have worked on or seen that pulled the fronts with anything more than a mid/low 1.7.
next time you are heading to the track let me know. i would love to be proven wrong. :D

I believe it, I remember a video of Magnus (Keith) pulling a tire running a mid-high 13, something like that. He has a lot of weight reduction as well. Get enough traction and it can happen. He probably just got his power to the ground VERY suddenly. Good job!!
