  • Changing converter????

Currently run a Pro Yank 3200 stall

    Nitrous converter.... went 0.7 quicker.
    3:23's gave me a nice 3,000 - 3,100 stall at the line

4:10's are giving me a 2,600 rpm stall at the line.

    http://www.converter.cc/wizard/wizard2.htm

Been doing a bit of research.... with the upcoming cam.... maybe looking at a 4,000 stall.

Realistically... with the v6... I'd probably only see a "true" 3,600 rpm launch... which would be fine.

Gonna follow up with Yank tech line Monday for confirmation.

To my knowledge.... they can "restall" a converter.... dunno how much though... we shall see

If the converter is built right, it will stall whatever you want it to, not less because its a v6. Also, the gears didnt change the stall of the converter, its just transferring more of the power to the wheels and they're spinning easier. Re-stalling the converter will probably be around 200-400; a lot cheaper than a new one.

      Sorry.... I meant restalling it.

I think it might be a good idea.....

      Needs more research though....
