Originally posted by Little G: yeah, there's some things we just wouldn't sacrifice. But seriously, I imagine i can get another 10lbs or so off. I've also got my eyes set on the new m/t wheels. 12lbs for the 15x8s and 8lbs for the 15x3.5s.
I weighed some 15x8" Bogart Force 5's this past weekend, 8 lbs a piece. Thats 6 lbs a piece lighter than the my 15x8" draglites.
I should be hitting up the track tomorrow as well we will see how things go, trying a few different things, doubt there will be much of a difference.

No new bests. :( Bunch of 13.8s. I think my DRs are overhooking and causing it to bog badly. I'll try some more psi next time. Also, it's no longer a sleeper 'cause everyone knows who I am before I run.

I think you need to drop that rev-limiter thing you're using and just eyeball the RPM's. The tires are apparently hooking enough to raise the RPMs up quite a bit.
It actually won't let me go above 4500 for some reason. There is a problem with the program that I am trying to resolve. I would like to try 5k or more.

Yea, the pewter SS couldn't drive worth crap, and the red LT1 t/a was pretty junky. The red LS1 TA spun to low 12's though....

Craig, I think he meant that you should stop using the 2-step until the problem is fixed, and just eyeball the rpm at 5,000 or whatever you want to launch at.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
