Doubt it will make much of a difference but maybe get used t-top frames(smashed t-tops) cut up the composite roof of a junkyard car and make lighter weight t-tops, that are rof style, or even make them out of fiberglass.

This has been suggested to me many times, and I suppose I could pass it through inspection if I "bought" a window sticker, but it moves away from the spirit of a street car. Maybe when I'm low 12s and I need the extra "oomph" to get into the 11s, I'll consider it.
