extremely possible. then once u crack the motor open u can look for 13's. but its alla bout how much money u want to spend.

So i ran it tonight. i hit 13.6 at 106mph with nothing but spin. using 245s doesnt help the traction to lay the 400 rwhp on the ground i spun off hte line and i wasnt even on it. then hooked up nailed the gas went a lil sideways. then hit 6 grand shifted into second rear went left then right then straightened out. then hit 5800 and decided screw it im giong into third. so i shifted it into third and it went left and right then got traction again. and it was still pulling strong as hell to the line. it seamed like to me i was doing quicker then the timeslips say i was. i got pitted against a slick car my first run beat it by over 2 car lenghts but yet it ran .4 sec faster then me. yeah right. so id ont think the beems were workin right.

Just cause you beat him down the track doesn't mean you should get the better 1/4mi time. You have to take into account reaction times. Basically just means your a better at street racing then him. His car still covers the 1/4 faster then your car.

                  w3rd

and yes the record is easily overturnable, if i ever make it to a track this year with my current setup i should have it... however without a decent 1/4 mile track in the area i dont know if it will be happening :(

It's weird. I easily have both the n/a and power adder records on this site but while I had the car, I was more worried with making money instead of internet glory. Now that the car is gone, I don't seem too bothered by not listing the times either. I think I don't want to develop a habit since I'm working on the 3800 now.

But to answer the question at hand, yes, 14s are easily attainable n/a and 13 with a power adder, even 12s. ;)

yeah i like hte trak pak but u lose some ground clearence i cant get into some driveways cuz of it. i have to avoid certain roads here and what not. all and all my suspension is pretty tight. i could go with a few more things i experienced a lil wheel hop today with an open rear end. usually it just spins both tires with this engine. even tho its opne its whining so its about to blow soon. reason i have a 3.42 waiting in my truck to drop into the car swap the rears and ill be pulling 12s with nice tires, and my new intake manifold and new lifters.( i kinda have one knocking right now its a lil broke.)

what happened with the 12's? timeslips don't lie. you were going quicker b/c of the set up you have now compared to the 3.4 you had in there. drag racing is awhole different story then just beating them by car lenghts.

Why the heck are you going with measly little 3.42s? Grab a good posi, a set of 4.10's, and start running 11's already
