• 1st time at the track today

EL. 632 above sea level
Race time temp - 80-85F clear, wind calm

My first 2 runs ended up being 16.2 and 16.3....with the temp at 210F. It was against my friends' trucks for fun....then i got serious about. Popped hood...iced intake, all that good sh*t. It was bracket racing later in the day...i went to the second round and broke out. Dialed 16.0 and ran 15.97. Next time out im definately taking out the subs, spare tire, and jack. It didnt exactly help either that i had over a 1/2 tank of gas....d'oh!

This was my best run of the night.

Dial: 16.00
R/T: .247
60': 2.397
330: 6.727
1/8: 10.313
MPH: 68.87
1000: 13.372
1/4: 15.975
MPH: 85.95

Car is bone stock...with 100lbs of subs and had over 1/2 tank of gas.

Like shenanigans said, along with some LCA's, cai and exhaust and you'll probably see high 14s, low 15s.

I know i can run mid-15's in that car...with no mods. If i take out the subs...run with barely any gas, and have the engine temp under 160....ill see mid-15's. I just put new tires on it a couple months ago, so no problems there. Ran with 40PSI in all the tires....and got a slight screech when i slammed the gas after torque braking to 1800. I couldnt floor it and torque brake, cause i kept spinning....

Any good advice besides practice? That 15.97 was my last run of the night btw.
