off hand... James, you, little G, various times from turbo and SC guys...

Might be in top 10 but not sure if I am I'd probably be like 9 or 10... I have pulled out about a half dozen 14.5s out of my car in the last month. Just fixed a few things car feels stronger, once fall comes I think I will have a new best, maybe even a 14.2 if all is good [img]smile.gif[/img]

I sort of have mods now...

-msd wires, with NGK plugs
-Shaved lid, FRA, home depot smooth bellows
-cutout on stock catback
-take off LSD
-used yokohamas

not really "big time" mods but no longer $0 [img]smile.gif[/img]

ohh yeah still am and always was full weight minus jack/spare, but I still pull the drivebelt.

i can see james in the 11's this year. once he gets it back together and at the strip i think he can be running around 11.9-12.05

now me once i put htis new rear end in. get some new lifters and a new intake manifold. 11.7-12.4 somewhere in there is where i should be.
with 245 street tires. i might go ahead and get a set of DR's i opened this rear end up that i bougth for 84 bux. and everything looks brand new. with 80k miles u usually start to see heat on the gears. and find alot of metal on the magnet and rust on the inside of the cover. but its mint. there was minimal metal on the magnet and the cover was clean. t6he fluid was regularly change dand the gears look brand new. along with the posi. and it takes quite a bit to break the posi lose. took around 150-200ft lbs of two poeple with crow bars to break it lose.
i cant wait to see what it runs just with the gears. next mod is the intake, lifters. and a 850 carb.

Yeah, but you would have to see my car in person to realize why I don't really wish to beat on it anymore. I'm paranoid just cruising around town in it. (I can actually feel my blood pressure rise.) I have way too much into it (blood, sweat, tears, time and $$$) to continue abusing it. My goal was always 11.8 and when it finally ran high 11's for me, I only raced it a few times after that. I began doing exterior appearance mods to it and spent a lot of money on the paint/wheels/lighting, etc. It is absolutely beautiful. I bought my car brand new in 96' from the dealership who sponsors it. I've had the sponsorship for 7 years now. Right before it was featured in GM High Tech Performance of Sept.98', I presented information, goals and advertising to them and they helped me fullfill (the rest) of my dreams...namely 11's. Scott, maybe you can come down this way for that f-body gathering at Island Dragway in August...
