    My car hates humidity

    I ran 2 T&T sessions on Saturday with the temp of 88 and relative humidity of 42%. Barometric pressure was 29.45 DA: 2735
    1st run:

    mph____ 70.83

    mph____ 87.84

    2nd run:

    now for my first elimination run. Temp was 74, humidity was 71% and pressure was 29.49, DA: 1847

    I canr believe the car lost almost over a tenth of a sec due to the humitity. BLAHHHHH

    muhahaha come to Florida, and race at Orlando Speed world... 5 minute drive away from swamps!

    I have been hurt by as much as .3-.4 on hot humid night compared to a nice cool night, between all my all the cars I ever raced there. Just wait come fall and we get ourselves a nice cold cold front and a few days later after the water dries up form the rain. Then its game time [img]smile.gif[/img]

    but I will admit between this car in my 3.4L, the 3.8L seems to soak up heat more. (yes when I am running the belt as well)

      Oh yeah, I guess Florida near the swamps would suck with the humidity. Well at least I am not running in the Rockies with a DA of 10,000'

        At least its more inland I always thought south Florida was much more humid. I wanna get some runs in at Gainesville one day. Everytime I have been there for road racing seems they have dryer air. Which is Ironic sinces its like 10 miles from the stadium known as "the swamp"

          Think about this.... if you yourself find the air quality bad.... then your car will too :(

          You won't perform as well.... and neither will your car.
