Front tires ~35. I start the rears at about 28 and work down as needed. Launch somewhere around 2500-3000.Matt

this is very siubjective. different tire brands, suspension mods, and launch technique can allow any number of tire pressures to work on a given night.
front tires you should air way up. 55-60psi while racing.

I normally dont raise my skinnies over 40 PSI because they're cheap tires and I'm skerred. I normally run my rear 275/50/15 BFG DR's at 16 lbs hot. The launch depends on the track conditions. Average launch RPMs is probably 4500-5000 but on good race days, I've lauched as high as 6200 dumping the clutch. My best 60' is a 1.74.

i run my fronts nitto ep 455's 225's at 45-55 psi. all depends on how i run with them at the lower but i like to usulaly run around 48 psi in the front
my nitto EP 455s in the rear 245's are usually at 23 wheni run. streets shouldnt go lower then 22 at the strip. even slicks i wouldnt go lower then 16 on. 16 means u gotta do a mean burnout to even out the tire so u dont spin off the line. around 22 should be what u run at the track in the rear. i launch at 1100 and a slowly roll off the lights and i slowly nail the gas. as to try not the break lose. but yet everytime i spin. 500hp +lil tires = No Traction Nomatter what.
i shift on my own. cant rely on a old school auto. it would shift to early on me. as i shift at 6100-6300.
my tires break from 1-2 for about 20 ft. and from 2-3 for about 15 ft. i shift into third at around 6000-6200. but i have a turbo 350 trans. and a 3.08 open. next friday im putting in my 3.42 lsd rear end. gunna run some nittos' 275's on a set of 17 light weight racing wheels. and see how it hooks and runs. this will be what i need to get low 12s instead of low 13s i cant hook at all.(next im investing in some DR's id runt hose at around 21-20psi. but the frotns shouldnt be bellow 40psi.
its ok to runt hem at a higher psi as this creates less friction and its a short distanc.e so the tire will not heat up to much. =safer to run higher psi. 60 would be the max i would ever go with fronts. on street tires. (not cheap street tires such as a reg car tire on performance tires) (tires made for cornering ect that have a firmer sidewall.)http://www.geocities.com/hemigtx001
http://www.geocities.com/hemigtx001/Firebird_Index.html
1993 3.4L firebird
mods-flowmaster 80 series, removed cat.
