thanks man..that would ROCK! ..id like to hit 12s on the 150 shot..with my car i really dont think it would happen on the 120..the best i did on the 120 was a 13.9 ..but yeah i know..my tune SUCKS..thats why as long as the juice doesnt seem to be harming the car too much i've been raising the shot..the most recent log i have is of the 13.41@96 on a 150 shot i ran saturday..i'll send it over to you when i get out of work
(when i say "shot"..im just referring to the jet size used..i know im not seeing the gain i should)
Ok, well - congrats on the time, but seriously - do you not see that something is wrong somewhere? You have mentioned seeing knock retard before, do you have all of that tuned out yet? If not, why in HELL are you adding to the shot? Are you trying to blow this thing?
I think we all appreciate the fact that you want to make your car faster, however you have got to work on the basics before you go throwing more power at the car. First, get the tune right NA. Then start with a 75 or 100 shot and work on the tune there, then up it to 125 and tune, etc, etc. There are plenty of people here willing to help, but you aren't following the suggestions and ideas that we are giving you.....
my car isnt exactly dyno tuned or anything..there will always be something that isnt perfect..i have to work with what i have..and i believe i have agreed with everyone who said there was something wrong..ever since people looked at my logs there was 2 main suggestions..get bigger injectors and get rid of the KR ...since then i have put in 30# injectors and have pulled 2* - 4* of timing..i AM spraying for 12s since i am ONE TENTH away and my car seems to be doing just fine..but that does not at all mean that i am not looking into any problems at the same time
Well, have fun with that, and good luck in not blowing up that motor (warranty or not). I just don't see how it's logical to keep adding spray when you know that the tune isn't right. I mean, you are spraying a 175 shot, and trapping lower than LittleG's NA car....that's absurd.
Anyway - I'll stop bugging you and let you go back to doing whatever you want since it's your car and your money.
the tune isnt right..but it doesnt seem to be causing any more harm to the car than running nitrous normally would..as far as the MPH ..101 seemed about right for my 13.4 second runs..but i think that the problem with saturday really lied with that broken siphon tube..cuz my MPH was down no matter what shot i ran..and that broken tube was the only thing i can see that was wrong/different
and nobody's bugging me..i welcome constructive critisizm..and its not that im not listening to you..im just not going back to square one when im 1 tenth away..im gonna try to run again..understanding i could blow something..but all i want is a 12 ..then i'll take all the time in the world to tune it so its running correctly as it should
so about that broken siphon tube..i just got my tank filled and the guy said it most likely came loose like that from the factory and has probably been like that the entire time..sucking in some air with the juice..maybe not since i would think on a full tank even in the laying down position the juice would be above the valve..but hopefully i see some improvement
I think you could of been in the 12s a long time ago, without a 175 shot. I read in here every other day or so, and i always see a post of yours about how your changing something, or upping your shot. If you took the time to get ONE setup right, you could of been in the 12s miles ago. It seems you always change this and that after every run, either tire psi, or nozzle location, or the shot. Two runs with the same setup are almost always different. Try to make a run with the same setup, more than once.

So without searching the many threads, is the 15.67 NA your best time to date?
I agree with James and have been around with him along time as he made the many changes on his car but the one thing consistant he has done is worked on the N/A time.....
The Nitrous time will work itself out with tuning after you get your NA times down...Its the only way you will truly work out the bugs. you should never need that size shot even to hit mid 12's........
Go back to NA and work on your times.
Congrats BTW!

yeah 15.67 is my best NA time..i ran like this for two days..both days were on 93 octane fuel and same tire psi and everything..that time was very consistant and the best i could do..i've been running consistant 13.4s (except for a couple very troubled days) on a 150 shot..John D. was running 2 tenths faster than me NA and he ran a 13.2 on a 150 dry shot..so i figured it was a pretty good time
i'll admit i am very indecisive..i dont mean to be frusterating to anyone..just me i guess..i just really wanna get my 12 ..after that i plan on dropping it to a 120 - 150 shot and tuning to run 12s that way..so i DO plan on doing a LOT of tuning..dont get me wrong..but .1 away with a potential problem with the system with that tube..im just itching for it
^ haha..probably..a wave of James's 12 second wand and there you go lol..i tried the stock tune on the 150 shot and unfortunately it didnt make any difference..i guess Drone is working on a tune for me
Something is not right with your car..point blank, instead of fighting to get a 12 that could screw your car up in the process and for what? To say you hit 12's? Makes no sense and has no consistency to it.
Take a step back while it warm weather. your not going to break any records in summer time anyways so take this time to retrace the NA side.
If you could pullout a 14 NA then my bet would be a solid 12 second pass that would be at least consistent and with out using that high of a Jet.
Stop beating your car before your next post ends up telling us that you grenaded it.
