You are so in trouble!

How many passes did you make with this banging sound?

If you hear it once.... get under there and check it out.

Could be D/S hitting D/S safety loop.... and slowly gouging into d/s weakening the strength of it.

    Exhaust hitting underneath of car

    Bad tranny mount

    You are in trouble!

When you coming up here again?

Okay we got the car up last night.

Exhaust was all broken loose in the back, just a rubber hanger keeping it there. That's welded back up (more or less). Sad thing is... at some point the over-axle pipe must have hit the axle really hard and it cracked the pipe, so that's gotta be replaced.

Seems the noise was something between the pipe hitting the axle and the drive shaft hitting the I-pipe.

Made some fuel adjustments, still having some problems.

James, you don't want none of this car

... but I could think about a tnt day. ;)

If the bang is still there, Are you getting any SES codes, it wont throw the light the first time. It must cycle. So you will have to scan it. If the tranny is slipping, it will demand max line pressure on the 1-2 shift. It will feel like a huge bang, if you are taking off hard enough.

Its decieving because it won't throw a code untill it happens after two cycles of starting the car.

The "bang" was two exhaust hangers snapping, causing the over axle pipe to smack down on the axle... so now that needs fixed too.

Would have been a dollar but I need exhaust work. I got a feeling I won't get anywhere near 20 in the end though
