4.56's would be optimal for the track.
4.10 or 3.73's are still good upgrades from stock, just remember that you are leaving several tenths on the table with them.
i am still available if anyone local to trenton, nj is interested in doing a bolt-on 3.4 build up.

i take it you have done this for the 3.4L f-body then????????????????????????????????
Start at 3:42 gears and LSD
3200 - 3600 stall converter
Intake
Exhaust
75 shot nitrous... and work up to 100 shot
Weight reduction
Drag race friendly suspension.
Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
nitrous et & mph: 12.168 & 110.95 mph, n/a 13.746 & 96.38 mph
2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8: 12.125, 116.45
2010 Ford Taurus SHO: no times yet
why start small and have to spend money again on the right parts later?
if anyone wants a drag project do it once and do it right. 4.56 or 4.10 gears + posi and a 4K stall will knock most of a second(if not a whole second) off you 1/4 time.
go get a real custom tune and you will see a bunch more time vanish from your et.
add to that the common mods like intake, exhaust, minor suspension upgrades, and a little weight reduction and this conversation will go from running 14's to talking about 13's. all without a power adder too.

Know whats ****ed up is I posted this on a v8 bored and got flamed for that.
I said the same thing because I don't like the added vibration of my poly but didn't want to trash another 1le mount(they ain't cheap) so I asked about doing something like that, so it essence under a hard launch it woudl be like a near solid mount, but normal driving it woudl be like a 1le...

Sorry man, my buddy won't do mail-order tunes. He datalogs and tunes cars only in person, so he konws exactly how the car is responding to the changes he makes. Mail order tune = crap.
