hey guys..havent been around lately..thats cool about the record..i didnt really care about that..or the shot size..just thought it would be fun to run a 12 ..the car was also on full weight..everything was put back in..all carpeting, panels, even spare/jack..the car weighs about 3400 lbs..i believe tuning is definitely the car's problem..which is why my goal is to now do the same thing on a smaller shot [img]smile.gif[/img]

Is this really worth bragging about??? 12.8 with a 225 shot??? I am not sure what the issues were with the car, but if theres problems with the car, why even think about sprayin it, even a 50 shot, let alone 225.... I guess i am just looking about it at another angle rather than just going. "sweet 12.8!" especially when other people are able to go 12s with only a 100 shot or 125 max...

I'm sure you are happy with your time. What if little g said exactly what you just said. You can do 13's na, but your using 100 shot.

Personally i think your time is impressive as well as g's and dv6. He prolly should get things straight before pushing it hard (i agree), but it's his car and it's his money and he had it built for big shots. I aint trying to stir anything or get on your back, but i give props to all fast times and it is worth bragging about for all of you [img]graemlins/banana.gif[/img]

Running a 12.8@103 mph with a V6 and a 225 shot makes V6s look more ridicilous than people may have thought before. I am not one to worry about what other people think but come on. If this gets around the web, it will not be long forgotten. I just want everyone else (outside cv6) to know that James ran a faster with a much smaller shot and properly tuned car so that people will realize that this is a problem with one car as opposed to how slow a typical V6 is. Just as an analogy, I run a business. I can't wait to make my first $250,000 but you don't see my selling parts I don't have, selling garbage parts as new or even robbing a bank to achieve it. I guess for some people there is a sense of accomplishment while achieving a goal AND doing it right.
