uhohh... now you are gonna pull the "you don't belive me because your jelous" thing... If you were around I used to argue nonstop with Magnus about accepting Jerriko's 60* v6 time. And he was the one that was considering beating my time.


I don't care if my time was beaten or not, I sold the car in fall '03, I never got pissy at little G when he beat my current car, if you get technical, my time already beaten, fastest time in a 3.4L is a 15.3@few more mph then my time. Guy I sold my car to put his slicks/skinnies of his TA, pulled the belt and ran that at gainesville speedway.

Most people say my car was a freak, or whatever it , threw off the bell curve.

It ran I can't even count how many low 16s... when I had.

-open y-pipe, but CAT connected
-intake
-plugs/wires
-!jack/spare and low gas
-and I think underdrive pulleys.

(plugs, pulleys, never did much, but the exhaust i s what opened up the car)


With that setup I ran a 15.913@XXX once, and only once.

I never got solid 15s until I started gears/lsd.


Alright now... There are people with cams that didn't break 15s, tiagos car with heads, freshly rebuilt, headers, full exhaust and intake, ran high 15s...


For the most part most people didn't get into the 15s without full intake exhaust and gears or cam.


I'd be willing to believe you if maybe you just had exhaust and pulled a high 15 or something.

But a bone stock car with like 50 lbs reduction, I am skeptical...

I am going to put you in the Elvis(I think that was his name) category. Where he had a "busch series" 3.4L and he looked up the engineers that built the 60* v6 years ago talked to them, and if you didn't agree that he had some 3.4L that would run like 9s he woudl just say you are speaking "drivle"

w3rd.. without doing something to the exhaust there is no way in hell... ive raced a few other 3.4L cars that would get the jump on me with more mods than i had and i still managed to reel them all in ... i know my car has more (or used to anyway) in it than most of the other 3.4L cars from the factory
